President Joe Biden reverses Trump's immigration policies

The latest reversal concerns applications under the Trump administration. If you left a blank space in the applications, they could automatically deny them. But, now, that has been removed.

This change is important because there are questions you don't want to answer. It is so because we have a Fifth Amendment right, we don't want to incriminate ourselves.

What was the repeal at the border?

A lot of things have changed. They have stopped building the wall and have gone back to the policy that they detain you and release you. Pending a trial in immigration court. There are also a lot of changes in the asylum.

No longer are returning people to third countries or to Mexico while they awaited their trials. That's what was happening under Trump, with the MPP program. That's all gone.

What is the most impactful revocation?

We are back to the old rules of the public charge. They do not ask you for all your financial information and evaluate whether you are a person of limited means in order to disqualify you. 

Now with a affidavit of support, i.e, A U.S. citizen resident who is financially responsible for you is sufficient. As long as you have not received cash or its equivalent (government checks in the form of SSI or welfare).

Now the big question is why is it that President Joe Biden is reversing all of President Trump's policies on immigration?
Because they want to disappear, completely erase Donald Trump's legacy, especially, when it comes to immigration and we have to take advantage of that.

How do we take advantage of it?

With the changes that have occurred in the immigration court of greater flexibility with deportationare reviewing asylum casesThe immigration law, with the border, and with the public charge. There are already significant immigration changes that make it easier to resolve cases without congressional change to changed immigration laws.
